Map and directions
From the M4:
Exit the M4 motorway at junction 11 and follow the signs for Town Centre/Oracle.
Once you get near the Town Centre you will start to see signs for Caversham.
Follow these signs until you get to Caversham Bridge, with the Crowne Plaza hotel
on your left. Continue over the bridge, staying in the left hand lane. Follow this
road round to the left, passing the Griffin pub. Turn left after
approximately 200 metres into the Caversham Court courtyard.
From the M40:
Exit the M40 motorway at junction 9 and join the A34 heading toward s Oxford. Follow the signs for Reading around the ring road at South Hinksey, turning on to the A4074. Follow this road for approximately 15 miles, observing the signs to Reading at roundabouts. After Mapledurham, the road descends through Caversham. Look out for St Peter's Church on the right hand side and we are on the right after this at the entrance to Caversham Court - just before the road bends sharply left.
By bus
Take the number 24 or 9 from the centre of town and get off over Caversham Bridge.
Walk to the traffic lights on the other side of the bridge and turn left.
Look out for The Griffin pub on your left and keep walking straight ahead
until the road bends right up a hill. We are on the left just past the
entrance to the park, Caversham Court.
By train:
Reading is very accessible by train and a frequent service runs from all major stations.
Caversham Court is approximately 15 minutes walk from Reading station. Exit the station and head right down Station Approach. At the bottom of the hill you will reach a T junction. Turn right here and walk down to the big roundabout, crossing the road along the way. Bear left at the roundabout and walk straight down to the next where you will see Caversham bridge ahead of you. Pass straight over the roundabout and over the bridge. Turn left at the lights. The road bends right up a hill. We are on the left just after the entrance to the park.
