County forums

The East Midlands' counties of Derbyshire, Leicestershire (including Rutland), Northamptonshire and Nottinghamshire all have a county forum. The Forum Manager attends these county forum meetings, the regional steering group meetings and the GreenSpace National Forum meetings, thus providing a communication link from local, regional and national.

The county forums provide:

• Local networking opportunities
• A mechanism for collaborative working and information sharing
• A venue to hear up-to-date information about the Forum's and GreenSpace's activities
• An opportunity to feed sector issues and opportunities to Forum meetings and on to the National Forum.

Derbyshire Forum
(Derbyshire Green Spaces Forum)

Forum Secretary: Ruth Rolls (Forum Manager, GSEM) - temporarily

Leicestershire Forum
(Leicestershire Parks, Open Spaces and Countryside Network)

Chair: Rotates according to venue.
Forum Secretary: Rotates according to venue.

Nottinghamshire Forum
(Nottinghamshire Parks Officers Group)

Chair: Tim Downes (Mansfield District Council)
Forum Secretary: Sarah Daniels (Ashfield District Council)

Northamptonshire Forum

Chair: Role rotates with venue
Forum Secretary: Ruth Rolls (Forum Manager, GSEM) - temporarily

Lincolnshire Forum

Lincolnshire does not yet have a county group. The Forum Manager welcomes hearing from interested parties and is willing to support this creation.
