What is GreenSKILL?

GreenSKILL is the online skills management solution for the green space sector that records and monitors skills, qualifications and continuing professional developoment (CPD).

Why GreenSKILL?

What separates GreenSKILL from traditional methods of recording and monitoring skills is that the system is based on Lantra's National Occupational Standards (NOS) and sector approved job profiles. For the first time, employers can manage and develop their workforce in a consistent way within a national competency framework for the green space sector.

Who is GreenSKILL for?

GreenSKILL would be of particular interest to local authorities, contractors and other organisations within the green space sector.

It allows employers to map skills, identify training needs and assess skills against national standards.

For individuals that work in parks and green space, horticulture, conservation, arboriculture, landscape design or management, if your employer uses GreenSKILL you can develop a skills record that could be transferable to any employer.

About us

GreenSKILL has been developed in partnership between GreenSpace and Lantra, the Sector Skills Council for the environmental and land-based sector. They will continue working together and are committed to improving and extending the features of the GreenSKILL system.
