Service wide questionnaire

Captures information on overall use and user perception of service delivery against PPG17 typology.

Individual park and open space questionnaire
Gives detailed qualitative and quantitative information on individual sites including overall satisfaction (BVP119e).

Secure administration area
Allows clients to access their own data at any time and provides data analysis tools for the quick, easy and reliable production of data tables.

Service wide questionnaire

The Service-wide questionnaire captures information on overall use and user perceptions of service provision including:

- Frequency of visit against PPG17 typology

- Ease of access against PPG17 typology

- Use and opinion of the open space closest to the respondents home, and/ or

- Use and opinion of the open space the respondent uses most often

- Reasons for non-use

- Demographic details

- An ‘opinion survey’ section examining the generic benefits of open space

- An option for managers to include a bespoke question to test the opinion of the
community against specific local issues.

Individual park and open space questionnaire

The individual park or open space questionnaire captures detailed quantitative and qualitative information on individual sites including:

- The nature of visits

- Seasonal frequency

- Seasonal duration

- Journey details

- Group composition

- Activities undertaken

- Use and opinion of the individual park or open space

- Satisfaction with individual physical or service delivery aspects

- Overall satisfaction (BVP 119e)

- Reasons for non-use

- Demographic details

Secure administration area

Access to the secure administration area of the database is by username and password. Managers may allocate further passwords giving team members varying levels of access to the system. For example, data entry clerks are given access to the data entry section only.  

The secure administration area:

- Gives easy access to the wealth of quantitative and qualitative information collected

- Permits the update of organisational details at any time

- Provides summary reports on response rates and visitor comments

- Allows easy data entry for hard copy responses

- Provides data analysis tools allowing quick, easy, and reliable production of data tables
