Climate Change Adaptation; -
Managing Climatic Changes
14 February – Taylor Park, St Helens
This half-day workshop aims to share lessons in managing public risk during extreme weather conditions both in terms of daily reactive management and to plan measures to reduce future risk in adapting to climatic changes, including localised flooding, gale-force wind and icy conditions.

Green Space within Green Infrastructure to Combat Climate Change
21 February – TBC
This event aimed at both planners and green space professionals will discuss the role of green space within evidence requirements for Green Infrastructure focussing in particular on its role to combat and adapt to climate change.

Local decision makers will need to consider the function of green spaces and land in more detail prior to management changes, park improvements, change of use or disposal – this event aims to raise awareness of the most fundament issues.
