Our story so far
Discussions regarding GreenSpace South East initially took place between its founding partners Bracknell Forest Borough Council’s Helen Tranter (Head of Culture & Visual Environment) and GreenSpace.A meeting was held with 40 local authorities in the region in Bracknell in March 2006, along with representation from the Countryside Agency. This meeting agreed to establish a Steering Group to take forward the business development of the Forum. A core group of supporters emerged, and they hope to respond to the growing national and regional agenda for parks by redirecting its focus onto strategic issues and expanding to the South East region as a whole.
